Cardinal's Cardinal Sin

It should have been a victory. It should have been a big victory. A celebration for the home town,The second win of the year. They did something that no other team has done this year, but they could not maintain.
Matt Leinart lead the hapless Cardinals to a 23 - 3 half time lead. Generally enough to maintain the momentum to win. Arizona is the first team this year to score against the Bear's defense in the first quarter. The previously undefeated Chicago Bears could only muster three points on offense. How is it possible that they scored 20 points in the second half? Two fumble returns and a punt return all for touchdowns. Add to the list a missed field goal at the end of regulation, albeit a 51 yard attempt, and the Cardinals hand Chicago their sixth straight win and the best starting record in 20 years.

you can't blame the defense. They only allowed three points. The offense needs to step up if they want to make a 1 - 5 record a distant memory and show the fans that the new stadium that they play in was worth the price.

I remember the game well. I couldn't believe it! I really think that Matt Leinart threw an almost perfect game!
